Bio

Bex Grayzel-Ward (they/she) is a JD student at Berkeley Law and graduate student researcher with the Health and Human Rights Program on the PRISM project, focused on supporting LGBTQI+ children and families in humanitarian settings. They bring several years of qualitative research experience working with youth in humanitarian contexts at NGOs in Chicago and Vienna, Austria. Their passion for queer youth advocacy informs their work as a law student, where they co-lead the Name and Gender Change Workshop and are a board member of the Berkeley Journal of Gender, Law & Justice. Bex holds a B.A. in Public Policy Studies summa cum laude, with a minor in Human Rights, from the University of Chicago.
