Summary

The past year has been extraordinary by many measures — including in its significant challenges to global human rights. From the resurgence of the Taliban in Afghanistan to the deadly invasion of Ukraine, there have been many painful moments. In response, HRC remains dedicated to advancing human rights and pursuing justice through science, technology, and law. Our students, fellows, and staff have met these extraordinary circumstances not with despair, but with active research and investigations fueled by a vision for a more free and equitable world.
