As we round the corner to celebrate the Human Rights Center’s 30th anniversary, we’re grateful for the opportunity to reflect on our last year of work. From condemning cyber-attacks in Ukraine as potential war crimes, to launching a new body of work developing child protection guidelines for LGBTQIA+ refugee youth in humanitarian settings, we are committed to engaging in active research and investigations fueled by a vision for a more free and equitable world. As we look back on nearly three decades and ahead to the next thirty years, we’re taking stock of the biggest threats to human rights in the world today, including climate change, and how we can help innovate solutions. HRC is responding to climate-vulnerable communities, such as agricultural and livestock workers, with a new portfolio of work on climate change and its human impact.
