Sofia Kooner

Bio
Sofia Kooner is the Assistant Director of the Investigations Lab. Prior to her appointment at HRC, Sofia was an instructor at Crown College at University of California, Santa Cruz for the Center for Applied Values and Ethics in Emerging Technologies. Sofia also served as an Everett Fellow at UCSC, specializing in socioemotional learning in rural Peru. Sofia has a BA in Critical Race & Ethnic Studies and in Sociology with a concentration in Global Information and Social Enterprise studies from UCSC. She is currently studying at UCLA to receive her Masters of Arts in Higher Education and Organizational Change.
