Summary

The report describes the findings from an interview study conducted in 1999, of a representative sample of thirty-two Bosnian judges and prosecutors with primary or appellate jurisdiction for national war crimes trials. The purpose of this study was to assess the understanding of attitudes among these legal professionals towards  the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and prosecution of war crimes. This report was completed with the Centre for Human Rights (University of Sarajevo).
